Every track, every vocal by Megan Parnell, every guitar riff/strum/pluck by guitarist and longtime performing partner Dave Barnes, every band stomp and finesse, every choric/light orchestral addition - this is a superb bluesy, soulful and rootsy Toronto gem of an album.
Parnell's rock singing has all of the rough&smooth/smooth&rough innate qualities you can get from a consummate vocal.
