Sun Shining
The use of anolog synth and vocoder - this latter beautifully on Outer Spaceways Incorporated (electrified and nearly operatic) and on closer We Travel the Spaceways with sweet harmonies - make for a melodic as well as, at times, funky set of covers that are simply wonderful listens when I have no real knowing of the originals. Opener Space is the Place has clear echos of A Rainbow in Curved Air which go beyond its means of production with pulsing rhythms and whirls of sound that are quite mesmerising.
