I do believe I have written about this before, but I was not then aware of this footage. I wasn't in Ipswich yet, arriving September/October I'm guessing of 1967 as school - Chantry Secondary - had already started when I joined. Might not have been allowed to go anyway, but in that nostalgic yearning it is still inevitable to imagine how cool it would have been to see Jimi there, and then, in those early unbelievably exciting days of his.
