Worth Repeating
Listening this morning to one of my all-time favourite sax solos and smooth jazz albums, the singular song that prompts this 40+ year old affinity is Blues de Funk with Benny Golson on tenor. There I was in my head thinking of the words to describe its mellow then rousing excellence, when I recalled I have already commented - back in 2011, here - and I think that still does it descriptive, empathetic justice. The key is this is still a recommendation. I do post here the more common cover for the album.
