Bob James & David Sanborn - Double Vision, album review

1986

Neat little amalgam of undemanding but skillfully played, late-nite, taxi ride-by, city-street tuneful jazz. James and Sandborn play melody over mood, and Marcus Miller provides the funk and groove on bass. Al Jarreau provides soft-sass vocal on Since I Fell For You, Sandorn snapping back on sax. Sweeping strings remind it is popular music. And 1986.

Not '86
