Two 20 minute jams supplicated before the guitar alter of Neil Young having dropped a tablature or two from his own Psychedelic Pill. Retribution Gospel Choir is made up of band members from Low including guitarist Alan Sparhawk. On second track of this album, Seven, guest guitarist Nels Cline adds other sweetened layers on this more melodic romp, that prettier sound [not better, just different] augmented by west coast harmonising – reminding of Spirit amongst others. A gorgeous track.
