Louisiana Dream
This is easy to like, the 63 year old Robert Finley getting
his musical break with the assistance of Dan Auerback who along with a few
others wrote the ten songs on this album for Finley to growl through in his
unmistakably Tom Jones-esque vocal, that is until the falsetto rasp of closer
Holy Wine which is quite gorgeous in its nostalgic retro-soul way.
