As it kicks in, the bass also plays its role in thumping out the song’s stepping beat. With Stevie it doesn’t take a whole lot of analysis on why the rest is sublime sass, being simply the brilliant playing, but it’s also to do with the baritone guitar that gives the soloing a resonating depth, feedback finessed throughout.
