The first aural account

I'll never be able to account for everything I've listened to on any one day so I will cherry pick:

Eddie Gale's Ghetto Music

Great trumpeter. This has powerful choral singing, the jazz trumpet already mentioned, and the most hypnotic percussion

Ara Tokatlian & Enrique Villegas - Inspiration

More jazz [not my main listening, but a large part of today's] - saxophone and flute, the latter played on a loop so has that psychedelic sound I like. All instrumental. Melodic mainly though has an appropriate rough edge.

Grobschnitt - Various

German rock/progressive - krautrock really. Far out: guitar wailing and other cliched but wonderful repetitions. Sounds like they were having fun, always.
