Gone Garage
Brittany Howard – brilliant vocalist and guitarist of
Alabama Shakes – has just released a garage rock album to further consolidate
her presence in the music scene as a gifted performer, the album currently
being streamed on band website here. The band members are modestly as well as
cryptically stated as Thunderbitch, Matt Man, B Bone, ThunderMitch, Char Man
and A Man, and the music is a collection of utterly generic though captivating quick
garage tracks, Howard’s distinctive rasp growling out the inherent energy. What
an industrious and fun year she is having!
