Surprise Songs

Majic Ship - Down By The River/For What It's Worth from Majic Ship [1970]

I'm going to enjoy this category. A Neil Young/Buffalo Springfield cover that works well and off an album of largely sound psyche-rock from the former garage band The Primitives. I've only just listened to the album and am of course a sucker for any good p-rock from this time, and there is a raw energy and production that appeals as well. Having just written about Neil Young it had an added attraction.
